Meet The Team
We combine pickleball industry knowledge with proven digital marketing expertise to help facilities grow.
Matthew Schapiro
Founder & Strategy Lead
Matthew founded Third Shot Growth after seeing firsthand how pickleball facilities struggled to fill courts despite explosive demand for the sport. Having led SEO at DIRECTV and Discovery Communications, he brings enterprise-level search and digital marketing expertise to the pickleball industry. Matthew recognized that most facility operators were excellent at running courts but lacked the marketing infrastructure to capture local demand — and he's now helped facility operators across the country build sustainable growth systems that turn empty off-peak hours into consistent revenue.

Why We Started Third Shot Growth
The pickleball industry is booming, but most facilities are leaving money on the table. We saw facility after facility with great courts, great staff, and great programming — but empty time slots and inconsistent bookings.
The problem wasn't operations. It was visibility. These facilities were invisible to the thousands of people searching for pickleball in their area every month. Their booking software managed reservations, but nothing was generating new demand.
We built Third Shot Growth to fill that gap. We bring the marketing expertise that most facility operators don't have time to develop — local SEO, demand generation, conversion optimization — so they can focus on what they do best: running great facilities.
